On 13 January 2017, the Audi Young Persons’ Choral Academy joined the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg, the Staatsopernchor Hamburg, Marlis Petersen (soprano) and Thomas E. Bauer (baritone) under the direction of Kent Nagano to perform the world premiere of Jörg Widmann’s oratorio “ARCHE”, a commissioned composition for this occasion, at the spectacular new concert hall “Elbphilharmonie“ in Hamburg.
