You love singing and choral music? You want to experience and perform exciting and demanding concerts together with international artists? You are aged between 16 and 27?

The Audi Young Persons’ Choral Academy is the right place for you!

We regularly offer auditions to join the choir.

The audition consists of one piece chosen by you (art song or aria), one compulsory piece (to be announced) and some side-reading exercises. A répétiteur will accompany your performance. You should be an experienced chorister and prepare rehearsals on your own responsibility. Your commitment and enthusiasm about choral music are also important for us.

Many more exciting projects are planned for the following years.

COMPULSORY PIECE

Please record two videos. Video nr. 1 is your compulsory piece.

The easiest way for you is to record the video by smartphone, maybe with an usb microphone for better sound. Just ask a second person to film you while you are singing. Please sing a-cappella in this video. Compulsory is part H to M of Mendelssohn's Elias in your voice. You can find the score by clicking on the blue button below.

PIECE OF YOUR CHOICE

The second video is your piece of choice and your personal presentation. After singing you piece, tell us about yourself and your motivation why you want to be part of Audi Jugendchorakademie. Your piece should be accompanied by a piano. We assume that you organize your own accompaniment.

If that is a problem, you can send us the score as a pdf file via mail. Our rehearsal pianist will record the accompaniment as an audio file that you can use to record the video.
